Fake News
The most spread information on social media is misinformation, also known as fake news. First of all, what is fake news? It is incorrect information that misinforms people to believe a false point of view. Before social media, people got their news from newspaper articles, television, the radio, etc.
A major downside of fake news is that it’s easier to be tricked because there is so much information that contradicts each other and confuses people, making individuals not know what to believe. Corrupt news reporters spread fake news to make stories more eye-catching rather than tell the truth, often for more views and publicity. When watching stories, informative channels and news reporters, it is always valid to trust your own instincts, because they might just save you from having useless information in your head.
The best thing to do after hearing news would be to search for more articles with the same story to find a clearer and safer idea of the media that was posted.
