Daily Routines Then and Now. By Adriana Barrero.

Daily Routines Then and Now

Written by: Adriana Barrero

I believe that my daily routine is quite different from my grandmother Luci’s routine. For example, she used to walk to school every day. Back then, they had many more physical books than we do now. When she needed to do research or complete homework, she had to look up the information in books and often go to the library if she didn’t have everything she needed. In contrast, we now do our research on phones or tablets, and we even use tools like ChatGPT. This makes the process much easier and faster than reading through books.

I imagine my grandmother’s daily routine was something like this: she would wake up, get ready for school, return home, eat, finish her homework, take a bath, and then get ready for bed.

On the other hand, my daily routine goes like this: I wake up early in the morning, get ready for school, have breakfast, and my mom drives me to school. After school, I return home, prepare for my evening routine, and finally get ready for bed and go to sleep.
