Teenagers in the 1940s and now
As we go through our teenage years, we have a really normal life, but what about
Teenagers in the 1940s?
I think they had a lot of homework, as teachers used to be way stricter than
today, also there weren’t any smartphones or tablets, even TV was scarce, so I think they
read or listened to the radio. Also, cars were a rare sight, so normally they moved by bus or
they walked. They may have met their friends at parks, and gone to eat at restaurants, they
were less dependent on their parents, and even some of them started working!
Now teenagers have a way easier life, first, teachers are way less strict today. Now,
even though students still move by bus, it’s way common to see students move by car. We
have smartphones, tablets, and computers to make our lives easier, we are more dependable
of our parents, and it’s unthinkable for a teen to start working these days, now we meet our
friends at malls, parks, or our houses.
In conclusion, teenagers these days have it easier than our fellow teens in the
1940’s. As we continue growing, I think our life has been made easier for good or bad?
