The Biciruta. By Gael Franco López.

 THE BICIRUTA

The biciruta is a family activity carried out on Sundays on the Paseo de Montejo in Mérida, Yucatan. This activity consists of closing the streets of Paseo Montejo to let cyclists roam free in the streets all day without using cycle lanes. On this day, you can rent bicycles or bring your own. With very picturesque scenes of the old-fashioned restaurants and buildings, you'll get some beautiful photos from here.

This activity is for all ages, and it's very fun. I've gone many times, and once I brought my dog and put him in a big bicycle with a small nest.

Also, you can buy some bolis or even have breakfast there. In conclusion, the biciruta is a very fun activity that I wish I went to more often.
